Podcast "Listen, it's easy": what is survivalism and why are its supporters preparing to live without civilization

The hero of the story of this issue - Nelson Nedy - was able to hold out on a deserted island for several days. He did not foresee such a turn of fate and waited for salvation thanks to luck. But real survivalists go far from civilization of their own free will and prepare for this in advance. They gather supplies, learn to provide themselves with food, water and shelter under any circumstances, train to provide care for injuries and diseases. All this in case of some kind of catastrophe or even the end of the world.

Preppers have two main strategies. And sometimes people go too far in their implementation. When a hobby becomes the meaning of life, problems begin. But until then, survivalism can be an interesting and very rewarding hobby. Survival skills in the wild and providing medical assistance, as well as the ability to competently collect alarm case, hasn't bothered anyone yet.
