OnePlus has unveiled its first non-flagship smartwatch: the Nord Watch. Serious shortcomings can be considered the lack of GPS and NFC-module, otherwise they can do everything the same as other modern watches.
The gadget received a 1.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 368 × 448 characters and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The case is made of plastic and zinc alloy, the straps are silicone. Diving in such a watch is not worth it: moisture protection is IP68 here instead of the expected 5ATM leaks, which will save the device only from rain, sweat and short immersions in clean water.
For health tracking, there are heart rate and SpO2 sensors. Supports sleep tracking and track your menstrual cycle.
Nord Watch recognizes 105 types of workouts, the accelerometer allows you to determine the start of exercises automatically. As already mentioned, there is no GPS here, so you will have to use a smartphone to work with mapping applications and link workouts to a location.
Inside is a 230 mAh battery that provides up to 10 days of active use. In standby mode, autonomy will increase to a month.
OnePlus Nord Watch was priced at 6,999 Indian rupees, or about 5,100 rubles. Two colors are available: black and blue. The watch has already gone on sale in India, and should appear in other countries in the future.
