WhatsApp introduces five new status features

whatsapp developers announced, that the statuses in the messenger have several new features, thanks to which it will become even easier to express your thoughts and communicate.

Innovations five:

• Added the ability to customize privacy settings when updating a status so you can choose who sees it. The selected audience will be saved and used as the default on the next status update.
• Added the ability to record voice messages up to 30 seconds long and share them in WhatsApp status. According to the developers, this format is perfect for publishing personal news.
• There are reactions that will allow you to easily and quickly respond to status updates of friends and other contacts. To do this, swipe up and tap one of the eight emojis.
• The status has rings that will be updated every time your contacts post a new status. Such a frame will be visible in the list of chats and group members, as well as in the contact data.
• When a link is published in the status, a preview of the page to which it leads will be automatically shown. People will know in advance where they will go by clicking the link.

The developers have already begun to roll out the update with new status features around the world. It will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
