Lego and Lucasfilm have announced a new Star Wars set. This time, fans of the designer will be able to assemble a figure of Han Solo's friend and Chewbacca's Wookiee traveler.
The release is timed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the franchise. LEGO Chewbacca is presented in his classic form: with a crossbow and a bandolier slung over his shoulder. The set consists of 2319 parts. When assembled, the toy is 46 centimeters high and 18 centimeters wide.
The plastic hero is devoid of moving parts, so playing with his paws or weapons will not work. Apparently, they release it as a figurine, because the figurine even has a special stand.
The set will go on sale on September 1 at a price of $200 (≈18,000 rubles). On the company's website it is already possible to issue pre-order.
Recently Lego also announced new Harry Potter set with the legendary Gringotts bank. And here they promise a lot of moving parts, including a trolley, on which it will be possible to go down for treasures.
