Russians began to drink more in 2022

Sales of other alcohol also increased:

• cognac - by 4.5% (11.1 million decalitres);
• other alcoholic beverages with a strength above 25 degrees - by 27.5% (10.2 million decalitres);

• champagne and sparkling wines - by 8.5% (14.9 million dal);
• liqueur wines - almost 2.5 times (655.2 thou. gave);
• low-alcohol products - by 53% (13.6 million decalitres).

Only sales of fruit (fruit) wines decreased - by 18.2%, to 9.3 million decalitres. In total, in January-November of this year, 101.2 million decalitres of alcoholic products were sold in the Russian Federation, which is 3.4% more than a year ago. And this is without taking into account beer, beer drinks, cider, poiret and mead.
