Instagram offers to shake the smartphone if the application has problems

Instagram head Adam Mosseri talked about two new features of the mobile app. One of them was the Rage Shake, or "furious shake", which will allow users to quickly report a problem with the service.

It works very simply: if you encounter an error or bug, just shake your smartphone with the application running. This action will bring up a feedback screen where you can indicate what exactly went wrong.

This feature will give Instagram the ability to prioritize bug fixes, Mosseri said. “You will be able to explain exactly what happened, how you ended up in this place, and also describe all the emotions and feelings that you had,” added the head of the service.

Another new Instagram feature that many users have been waiting for is the ability to remove one image from a published photo carousel. Up to this point, if some frame turned out to be superfluous or hurt someone, it was necessary to shoot the entire publication. Now, through the menu, by clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner, you can go to editing and take only one or several pictures.

The function of removing photos from the carousel has already started appear on Instagram on iOS, and Rage Shake is available on Android. The innovations will be distributed gradually.
