Kament allows you to leave comments on YouTube, even if they are disabled
Miscellaneous / / April 03, 2023
Express your opinion, despite the prohibition of content authors.
If desired, bloggers can turn off the comments feature when posting videos on YouTube, and then you can neither see the opinions of other users, nor express your own. With the Kament browser extension, this situation is easy to change.
The plugin gives everyone the opportunity to express their emotions. The way Kament works is quite simple. Above you can see a screenshot of the video from the broadcast of the September presentation of Apple. As usual, comments are disabled.
If you install the extension, log in to your Google account and refresh the page, a comments section will appear below the video. You can write something yourself and see the messages of other users.
It works exactly the same as with inline comments. Unfortunately, however, some additional features like likes and replies are not available. The extension was released quite recently, so it is quite possible that the developers will add them in the future.
Kament is distributed free of charge through the official plugin stores for Chrome and Firefox.
