With Google Play Store and all included services.
By data 9to5Google, Chinese giant Xiaomi plans to release smartwatches running Wear OS 3. After several years of using its own proprietary system, it will be the first wrist gadget on the Google platform.
According to the source, the forthcoming Xiaomi watch will be able to offer the Google Play store with all applications and all other services relevant to Wear OS, including contactless payment with GPay.
With all this, the gadget will be controlled by the Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) application, which is currently used by all Xiaomi wearable devices.
The company now has a full range of wearables, from budget fitness trackers like Mi Band 7 (Smart Band 7), to flagship smartwatches like Watch S1 Pro. New on Wear OS may have all the features of the latter, but it is unlikely to offer a similar autonomy. Clocks on this platform usually do not run without recharge for more than a couple of days.
As for the timing of the announcement, the blurry 2023 is mentioned so far. Perhaps the device will be shown with the next flagship smartphone.
