Text display can be customized to your taste.
Google has introduced Reading Mode in Chrome. The option will appear in the desktop version of the browser before the end of this year, reported company blog.
The Reading View button will appear on the browser's home page. Once enabled, page content will be displayed in the Chrome sidebar, which typically displays bookmarks and a reading list.
The width of this side screen can be adjusted. Text settings will also be available there - font, letter size, background color (light, dark, yellow, blue) and line spacing.
The function is designed to reduce distracting elements on the screen, such as images, videos, and advertisements. When Reading Mode is activated, the screen is usually only text.
The new feature will roll out to Chrome on Mac, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS (version 114) before the end of the year.
