Google has found several dangerous vulnerabilities in smartphones Pixel, Samsung and Vivo

For the time being, it is better to disable some functions of these devices.
The Project Zero team of the American company Google has identified 18 vulnerabilities in devices with modems Exynos. They are used in many Pixel, Samsung, Vivo smartphones and some smartwatches. About it writes 9to5Google.
Experts note that four vulnerabilities allow attackers to execute code remotely, knowing only the victim's phone number. The remaining 14 "holes" are considered not so serious, since they require either the participation of the user's mobile operator, which is almost impossible, or local access to the device.
Gadgets in which vulnerabilities were found:
- Samsung Galaxy smartphones, including the S22, M33, M13, M12, A71, A53, A33, A21, A13, A12, and A04 series;
- Vivo smartphones, including S16, S15, S6, X70, X60 and X30 series;
- Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7 and 7 Pro;
- all wearable devices with Exynos W920 chipsets, including Galaxy Watch 4 and 5;
- all vehicles using Exynos Auto T5123 chips.
Google believes that experienced hackers can quickly create a working solution to exploit the most critical vulnerabilities for their own purposes. Therefore, it is recommended that users disable certain features until the update is released. In particular, block calls over Wi-Fi and voice over LTE (VoLTE).
However, not all devices can do this on their own. For example, in some Google Pixel smartphones, the VoLTE function is activated automatically and cannot be adjusted manually.
Fortunately, the main vulnerability - CVE-2023-24033 - in most Google devices has already been fixed by the March security update, which was released on Monday. But it hasn't reached the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, and 6a yet.
