Samsung has released smartphones Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 - inexpensive and waterproof

Samsung replenished line of mid-price A-series smartphones with two new models: Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34. They are very similar in appearance, have 5G support and received water protection according to the standard. IP67.

Galaxy A54

This model received a 6.4-inch screen with a Super AMOLED matrix, a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Top center - a hole for the front camera at 32 megapixels. The fingerprint scanner is also hidden under the panel.

The heart of the device is an Exynos 1380 chip with Mali-G68 MP5 graphics. The amount of RAM is 6 or 8 GB, and the internal memory is 128 or 256 GB. There is support for microSD cards up to 1 TB.

The smartphone has three rear cameras: a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP wide-angle camera, and a 5MP depth-of-field sensor. The manufacturer emphasizes the presence of digital video image stabilization (VDIS), wide night shooting capabilities and functions for removing unwanted shadows and reflections in the photo (for the first time in Galaxy A series).

Responsible for autonomy is a 5,000 mAh battery with 25 W charging via a USB-C port. Among other things: stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos sound, support for Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS and NFC.

The Galaxy A54 costs from 489 euros (≈39,600 rubles).

Galaxy A34

This smartphone has a 6.6-inch screen with a U-shaped cutout for a 13 MP selfie camera. The resolution and refresh rate of the picture are the same as those of the older model.

The chipset is different, MediaTek Dimensity 1080 with Mali-G68 MC4 graphics. It is complemented by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. The battery is the same 5,000 mAh with 25 W charging.

The main camera includes a 48MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. The rest of the smartphone is identical to the Galaxy A54.

The price of the Galaxy A34 was from 389 euros (≈31,500 rubles).
