Quentin Tarantino is gearing up for Film Criticism, his latest film

Quentin Tarantino of Pulp Fiction fameOnce Upon a Time in… Hollywood” and other box office hits, decided on his latest film. Tarantino has already written a script called Film Critic and is set to begin filming this fall. About it informs The Hollywood Reporter, citing industry insiders.
The details of the plot are still unknown, but sources say that the action will unfold in Los Angeles in the late 70s, and the main role will be a woman.
THR suggests it could be the story of Pauline Cale, one of the most famous film critics of all time, who died in 2001. In addition to reviews, she also wrote essays and books. She briefly worked as a consultant for Paramount, and it is likely that this period may affect the film.
Tarantino has been known to have a deep respect for Cale's work, which lends credence to the theory that his latest work will be dedicated to her.
The project is not yet attached to a specific studio, but pitching may begin this week. Sony is the most likely candidate, given Tarantino's close relationship with Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group CEO Tom Rothman.
Tarantino previously revealed that he plans to make 10 films in his career and retire at 60. He currently has 9 films to his credit (if we count the two Kill Bill parts as one film), and the director will turn 60 later this month.
