The film "Empire V" based on the novel by Pelevin hit the network - before the official release

On Russian trackers appeared the film "Empire V", based on the novel by Viktor Pelevin. It was supposed to be released to the cinema at the end of 2021, but later the release was postponed and several times changed release dates. There is currently no official release date for the film.

A WEB-DL version of the film is published on trackers, which is usually intended for online cinemas. Accordingly, the picture may soon appear in one of the Russian streaming, although this has not been officially confirmed.

"Empire V" lasts 1 hour and 54 minutes. The film is about a young Muscovite who becomes part of an elite race of vampires and his life is turned upside down. He gets the name Rama II, a mansion in the city center and a life that yesterday's loader could not even dream of.

The main roles were played by Pavel Tabakov and Miron Fedorov, known as Oxxxymiron (included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of foreign agents). The project was directed by Viktor Ginzburg, who previously filmed another Pelevin novel, Generation P.
