He surpassed The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, which held the record for 20 years.
Last year's super hitEverything everywhere and at once» has already received 158 awards, calculated IGN experts. Thus, it becomes the most titled film in history. And this is even before the Oscars, where the picture is presented in 11 nominations.
All awards from major critics organizations and awards, such as "golden globe”, SAG Awards, Indie Spirits Awards and others. The ratings of various sites were not taken into account in the calculation.
Previously, the record was held by The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, which at one time managed to get 101 awards. "Everything is everywhere and at once" bypassed him both in terms of the number of nominations and the number of wins.
The publication acknowledges that in the 20 years since the release of The Return of the King, many new awards have appeared in the film industry. However, even if we count the awards according to a special scheme taking into account this factor, then the fantastic comedy of Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert still bypasses the fantasy of Peter Jackson in all respects.
