The most famous Martian crater Lake showed on video

The European Space Agency (ESA) showed on video the Martian crater Jezero. It is believed that once he was to the top filled with water.
The video was created thanks to the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) cameras on the automatic interplanetary stations Mars Express (ESA) and Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (NASA).
The video shows the crater from a bird's eye view and its surroundings. As the camera pans closer to the planet's surface, smaller craters and winding channels can be seen. Water once flowed through them, scientists are convinced.
Jezero is an impact crater with a diameter of about 49 kilometers. It is located on the western edge of the Isis Plain, north of the equator of Mars. Scientists believe that it was once a lake. Therefore, it is here that they expect to find any signs of life on the Red Planet. NASA's Perseverance rover has been operating in the area since 2021.
