Japanese startup will send tourists to the stratosphere in a hot air balloon

It will be possible to feel like a half astronaut at the end of this year.
Japanese company Iwaya Giken announced a new attraction - individual tourist tours to a height of 25 kilometers. Although it is not yet open space, it is still above the flight of a jet plane and enough to see the Earth bend under a black sky.
The tourist capsule looks like a barrel with a diameter of 1.5 meters with a transparent front surface. It will rise into the sky with the help of a helium balloon.
Flying into the stratosphere with a company will not work. The capsule is double and one seat is designed for the pilot.
The ascent will take up to two hours. The tourist will spend about 60 minutes at a height, and then an hour-long descent will follow.
It is economical and safe for people. The idea is to make space tourism accessible to everyone.

"Affordable" flight to space was estimated at 24 million yen (1.3 million rubles). The company expects that as the popularity of the service grows, the price will decrease.
Apply you can go to the "space tour" online. The winners of the first round of selection will be announced in October. They will be able to use the service until the end of 2023. Flights will take place in Japan.
Recall that a clear boundary of space still does not exist. For example, in the USA they draw a line at an altitude of 80 kilometers, and in the International Aviation Federation and NASA it is 100 kilometers (Karman Line).
