Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo make it easy to switch between their smartphones

MIUI official account on the Chinese social network Weibo announced Xiaomi's new collaboration with Vivo and OPPO. Thanks to it, users will be able to transfer data from third-party applications when switching between smartphones of these brands in any combination.

Now, when switching to a new device, data from each third-party application like WhatsApp and WeChat needs to be transferred separately - for example, through Google Drive. Seamless transfer is usually only available when transferring between two devices of the same brand. But users of Xiaomi, Vivo and OPPO smartphones will now be able to do it in a couple of minutes.

This seems to have been achieved by integrating the data transfer tools used by MIUI, ColorOS, and OriginOS. these are Mi Replacement, Huantai Mobile Moving - Replacement Assistant and Mutual Transfer, respectively. After updating these tools to the latest version, the transfer on Chinese versions of smartphones should work now.

It is not yet known when this feature will become available outside of China.
