Anker introduced the EverFrost portable refrigerator. It cools food without ice

Anker showed a new gadget, and this is not another dock station for MacBook or GaN charging, and the EverFrost portable cooler. It can keep food and drinks cold (4°C) for up to 42 hours without ice or power.

Anker claims that the novelty will be able to cool drinks from 25 to 0 degrees Celsius in just half an hour. But it will be possible to use the gadget not only for picnics: it will be useful for truckers and as a backup storage for medicines – for example, when there is a power outage in a pharmacy.

The refrigerator received a massive 299 Wh removable battery that supports charging with solar panels. It can also be used as a power bank: there are two USB-A connectors and one USB-C.

Three sizes will be available: 33, 43 and 53 liters. This is enough to store 38, 54 or 62 330 ml jars. In the younger versions there is one compartment, and in the older one for 53 liters there are two. It is claimed that in the second case it is possible to simultaneously cool and freeze products, but it is not specified what is available. in mind: different temperatures for compartments or just the ability to fill a second container when everything is already in the first cooled down.

The cost of Anker EverFrost has not yet been announced. The refrigerator will appear on Kickstarter on March 23, and a few weeks before the release, it can be ordered at a reduced crowdfunding price.
