Errors may await us at every stage and the organization - not the exception. At this stage it is possible to make two major mistakes: you can create a very sophisticated storage system, or you can make a mess. Traditionally, documents and materials are organized into folders / folders and stored on appropriate racks. Applying the same concept in the digital world, OS creators have put into circulation a folder or directory. This is - a wonderful way to organize... in the simplest case.
But in the case with the organization of the storage system in the GTD any of the pieces of information can be treated as a project, and to context, besides its unquestionable occurrence in one of the lists like the following list or the list of "Someday may be".
In general, before the person there is a problem, how to place an item in multiple folders at the same time. I find that regardless of the method of storage (file system, mail system, or any other storage system, such as a wiki) the most convenient and easy way to ensure getting the information in all the required information flows - it labels (Tags).
As you may have guessed, I hint to you that the main, in my view, a mistake at the stage of organization is the duplication of information. Also, I would recommend that you arrange physical storage on the lists, and support for projects and contexts to organize tags. Although the organization is another way, if you do it will strictly adhere to, will work. Bottom line: You have to build a simple storage system that provides easy access to information by any criteria.
