Realme Launches GT Neo 5 Smartphone That Fully Charges in 9 Minutes

Realme Company announced flagship smartphone GT Neo 5. It received an unusual design with a transparent panel on the back, complemented by RGB backlighting. The latter supports 25 colors and 5 glow modes, which can be used for notifications and various events in mobile games.

The transparent window also allows you to look at the flagship chipset - Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Depending on the version, it can be supplemented with 8, 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 1 TB of internal memory.

The GT Neo5 has a 6.7-inch screen with an AMOLED matrix, a resolution of 2772 × 1240 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 1450 nits. It also has 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM control.

The main camera is represented by three sensors: the main 50 MP (Sony IMX890) with OIS, wide-angle 8 MP (112 °) and 2 MP sensor with microscope mode. For selfies, a 16 MP module (Samsung S5K3P9) is provided.

Among other things: stereo speakers, support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax modules, dual-band GPS (L1 + L5), NFC and, of course, a 5G modem.

Realme GT Neo 5 will be available in two variants. The first is equipped with a 4,600 mAh battery and 240 W fast charging, which allows you to charge your gadget 100% in just 9 minutes, and up to 20% in 80 seconds. The second option - with a 5,000 mAh battery and 150 W charging - takes 16 minutes to 100% charge.

The prices for the basic versions are as follows:

• Realme GT Neo 5 150W (8 GB / 256 GB) – 2,599 yuan (≈28,000 rubles);
• Realme GT Neo 5 240W (16 GB / 256 GB) - 3,199 yuan (≈35,500 rubles).
