Elon Musk gave a new forecast for landing people on Mars

SpaceX has released a test video of the Starship first stage prototype, known as Booster 7, firing 31 of 33 Raptor engines. Elon Musk commented video with the words "One day Starship will take us to Mars."

In the comments, he was asked about the timing of this landmark event, to which the billionaire replied:

In other words, landing a man on Mars is possible by 2028, and by 2033 such a scenario will become even more likely.

It is worth noting that the timing of the exploration of Mars Mask shift quite often. So, earlier by 2022 he planned first cargo mission, and by 2050 promised build the first city on the Red Planet with a population of 1 million people.

Now his company SpaceX is developing the Starship reusable spacecraft. It is designed for flights to the Red Planet and is designed for 100 people. So far, all tests are taking place within the earth's atmosphere, and not always successfully.
