YouTube is testing the feature of multiple audio tracks for videos

YouTube plans to introduce a new feature on the platform: the ability to add multiple audio tracks in different languages ​​to one video. How writes Insider, the feature is being tested by a small group of popular bloggers.

The dubbing feature is supposed to give old YouTube videos a second chance and allow new videos to reach a global audience.

According to the publication, access to dubbing has one of the most popular bloggers on YouTube - MrBeast. His viral video where he recreates "The game of squid” from Netflix, is already playing in 12 different languages, including Russian, Arabic and Thai.

Dubbing turns on automatically, immediately showing the video in the user's native language. Even titles and annotations to posts are translated. You can enable or disable the function in the video settings in the "Soundtrack" tab.

Previously, popular bloggers had to launch new local channels, hire translators, voice actors

and sound engineers to enter the international market. The new feature will save them from unnecessary expenses and hassle.
