Rugged smartphone manufacturer Cubot has released a new product: the compact KingKong Mini 2. By modern standards, it is really tiny: the device received a 4-inch screen and weighs only 122 grams despite the additional protection.
Responsible for performance is the MediaTek Helio P22 processor, supplemented by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. You can expand the storage with memory cards up to 128 GB. There are only two cameras here: the main one at 13 megapixels and the front one at 5 megapixels. It is claimed that the front module can be used for face unlock.
To protect against falls, the smartphone received a metal reinforcement on the sides of the case, soft plastic pads are used at the edges, designed to absorb shock. The manufacturer also claims dust and moisture protection, but does not name specific standards.
Cubot KingKong Mini 2 received a 3,000 mAh battery and runs on Android 11. GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BEIDOU navigation systems are supported.
The smartphone went on sale today, August 22. On AliExpress, it can already be ordered for 8,289 rubles, and the first 200 buyers will be able to pick up the coupon on the product page and take advantage of the store’s special offer (it is activated automatically).
