The Ministry of Digital Transformation has chosen sites for free access - "Gosuslugi" and "VKontakte"

Only two resources got into the program of free access to socially significant sites - "Gosuslugi" and "VKontakte". The Ministry of Digital Development did not find other suitable sites for inclusion in the Accessible Internet project, write "Vedomosti".

Public Services and VKontakte were included in the list created by the department back in January 2022, and the current list had to be approved no later than August 1. It could have been updated or expanded by adding other resources, but this did not happen.

The Ministry of Digital Development noted that the two selected sites “act as a universal access point to any important for people information and materials posted by authorities, the media, educational organizations, etc. Further".

The law on providing free access to socially significant resources was adopted in August 2021. About 400 sites were selected for the experiment, including VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, search, mail and news aggregators from Yandex, Mail.ru and Rambler, AliExpress and Ozon marketplaces and others.
