Apple will add more ads to the App Store

It looks like the company is inspired by Google Play.
Apple plans to increase the number of ad units in the App Store. Now ads appear in search results, and in the future two new ad slots will be added: in the "Today" tab and on the page of the applications themselves.
The first one is easy. When the user opens the App Store, the Today tab is loaded. Now it contains collections of interesting offers, but after adding a new slot, the second card will contain an advertisement for the application. It is noted that the post will be marked as advertising and cannot be confused with a regular recommendation.
The second placement option is a bit more complicated. A block will appear at the bottom of the applications page in which the developer will be able to demonstrate their other applications that may be of interest to the user.
Also, this block will show other applications that are potentially interesting to the user, but without the possibility of targeting by the page owner. That is, conditional Twitter will not be able to receive money by placing ads for other applications on its page in the App Store.
Testing of new advertising slots will begin soon, but even the approximate timing of their release is not yet known.
