Infinity Maps - a large-scale workspace for mapping processes, plans and diagrams
Miscellaneous / / July 07, 2022
A useful tool for companies, teachers and students.
In the process of working with information, we regularly have to organize the collected ideas and visualize plans so that tasks, processes and other elements look clear. This can be done on paper or a large whiteboard, but for large projects, this way of presenting will not be enough.
The Infinity Maps service combines an online infinity whiteboard, a charting tool and a knowledge map to collect all the important data. Suitable for charting in the process of writing a scientific paper, when developing applications, for visualizing stories from fiction books or background information about a company.
When creating a new project, you can choose a ready-made template or start from scratch. The interface here is quite convenient, the control is similar to moving around the online world map. The user can move around the board, zoom in on each individual element and add new information, as well as zoom out the window to view the entire plan or diagram.
To visualize processes and create knowledge maps, Infinity Maps has geometric shapes, arrows, inscriptions, backgrounds with different colors. You can insert images into cards and pin links to download files.
Each individual card or shape can be focused by double tapping. Therefore, it is very convenient to deal with the detailing of processes on the plan.
In the free mode, up to three cards are available per account, in each of them you can create up to 150 cards and attach files up to 50 MB in total. With a subscription for 15 euros per month, all restrictions are removed - you will have an infinite number of maps and elements on them, as well as 5 GB of file storage.
You can work on the map in a joint online mode with colleagues, while the names of users who are currently active will be displayed. For the finished scheme, a presentation mode is provided with a predetermined route of movement from one part of the plan to another.
