Strawberry jam with whole berries

The berries in the jam remain intact, because the strawberries are practically not cooked, but infused for a long time in a transparent syrup. It turns out very tasty and beautiful.

Ingredients
- Strawberry 1 kg
- Sugar 600-700 g
Cooking method
Place the strawberries in a saucepan and cover with sugar. Do not stir.
Leave it on for a few hours to let the fruit juice. To check for juice, simply tilt the pan.

Place on medium heat. Once the syrup has boiled, remove the pan from the stove.
Use a spoon to lightly press on the berries from time to time so that they are evenly covered with syrup. Also remove the froth from the jam.
Leave to cool for 8-10 hours.
Repeat boiling and cooling 3 more times. Do not cool the jam one last time.

Distribute hot jam among sterilized jars and roll up.
