Samsung launched a single game hub for Smart TV
Miscellaneous / / July 01, 2022
It is already available for 2022 devices.
Samsung introduced Gaming Hub is a single interface for displaying all games available to the user on the TV screen. We are talking about cloud streaming Xbox, GeForce NOW, Google Stadia and Utomik, in the future it is planned to add support for Amazon Luna.
The new hub is powered by Tizen, Samsung's operating system, and works on the same principle as movie recommendations and series: the start screen will display a selection of new and popular games, as well as an offer to continue the last running games.
It is noted that all this will work with existing controllers and Bluetooth accessories, there will be no need to update peripherals to play on a TV without a set-top box.
The Gaming Hub will be available for 2022 Samsung smart TVs. The interface is rolling out with a system update and should roll out to all compatible devices in the coming weeks.
