The display of their smartphones suddenly turns bright pink-purple, completely or partially blocking the interface of an open application, lock screen or desktop.

Symptoms are different: in some cases, the problem is limited to a pink screen, while in others this condition is accompanied by glitches and a device freezing. The duration of the effects is also different: they can be temporary or persist even after rebooting or resetting the smartphone to factory settings.

The bug is not limited to specific models, all devices of the iPhone 13 line are affected, except for the iPhone 13 mini. However, the lack of messages is due to the low popularity of this smartphone, and not the absence of problems with it. It manifests itself both on new devices and on those that have been in use for several months.

Apple has not yet officially recognized the problem and has not launched a replacement or repair program for such devices, but it is still worth contacting an authorized service.

According to the forums, experts always recommend updating your smartphone to the latest version of iOS first, therefore, contacting the service center before installing the update will most likely be meaningless. It is also recommended to try a forced reboot of the device and factory reset (Don't forget to make a backup first so you don't lose your data).

If possible, it is recommended to take a screenshot at the time the bug occurs and show it to employees when contacting.
