Poco X4 GT officially presented

Together with Poco F4 Poco X4 GT, a mid-range smartphone aimed at gamers, was also unveiled today. It has a tall 6.6-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 270Hz sensor sampling and with a resolution of 2460 × 1080 pixels - but the IPS matrix, which is why the fingerprint scanner had to be placed on sidebar.

The smartphone was equipped with a new 5-nm Mediatek Dimensity 8100 processor, which bypasses the Snapdragon 870 in tests and keeps at the flagship level, albeit already outdated Snapdragin 888. For cooling, the updated LiquidCool Technology 2.0 system is used with a vapor chamber 32% larger than in the X3 GT. The chipset is complemented by 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Poco X4 GT is equipped with a triple camera: the main module is 64 MP (sensor size 1 / 1.72 inches), plus 120-degree ultra-wide-angle 8 MP and macro 2 MP. The front camera has a resolution of 20 megapixels.

Sound is handled by a dual speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos surround sound. In addition, Poco listened to users and brought back the 3.5mm headphone jack. To connect wireless headphones there is Bluetooth 5.3.

The 5,080mAh battery provides up to two days of battery life and supports 67W fast charging (suitable adapter included). It takes 46 minutes to fully charge.

The smartphone runs on MIUI 13. This is a version for the global market, so Google services are here out of the box.

The Poco X4 GT will go on sale June 27 in black, blue and silver. The basic 128 GB version will cost 379 euros, and the 256 GB modification was priced at 429 euros, or about 21,300 and 24,100 rubles, depending on the amount of memory. At the start, prices will be reduced to 299 and 349 euros, respectively (≈16,800 and 19,600 rubles).
