Xiaomi introduced Book S - an alternative to Surface Pro X with a 12.4-inch screen

Xiaomi held a European presentation of the Book S 12.4 - a cross between a tablet and a laptop, the main feature of which was its light weight and thin body.

The gadget received a 12.4-inch LCD screen with an IPS matrix with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and supports touch input, including with a stylus. The main camera is 13-megapixel, front - 5-megapixel.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor is responsible for the performance of Xiaomi Book S 12.4. It is complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, expandable up to 512 GB using a microSD card slot.

The device received a 4,920 mAh battery with support for 65 W fast charging via USB-C. Out of the box, it runs on the ARM version of Windows 11.

Xiaomi Book S 12.4 was priced at 699 euros (≈40,700 rubles), the version with a keyboard case costs 799 euros (≈46,600 rubles). The laptop is already on sale in Europe.
