Microsoft Edge is coming soon with a useful new Drop feature. It will allow you to share files between all devices on which the browser is available.
Now, to transfer data, you have to use cloud storage, instant messengers or ecosystem solutions from manufacturers. But in Edge Canary 104, a beta available to developers, noticed a new panel called Drop. It's essentially a single clipboard for all Edge devices that you're signed into with your Microsoft account.
If you're using an Edge Canary 104, all you need to do to access the new feature is to toggle the Drop switch to the active position.
In addition, now being tested the ability to import data from Google Chrome every time you launch Edge. It seems that this feature is aimed at those who constantly have to use two browsers and want to keep access to their browsing history, passwords, bookmarks, and even settings. When sync is enabled, tabs from Chrome will appear in the Imported Tabs section.
It is not yet known when these features will become available to regular users.
