The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is getting a new adaptation

It will be a feature-length film that faithfully captures the spirit and style of the original comics.
20th Century Studios is set to relaunch The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, the acclaimed comic book franchise created by writer Alan Moore and artist Kevin O'Neill.
By data THR, a new and much more accurate film adaptation is already being prepared in a full-length film format. The premiere will take place in the online cinema Hulu.
The script for the film is to be written by Justin Hayes, who worked on Revolutionary Road with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, Red Sparrow with Jennifer Lawrence and The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp.
Don Murphy, who produced the first feature-length adaptation of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in 2003, will join as producer on the new version. The director for the project has not yet been fixed.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is a comic book series by Alan Moore, author of Watchmen and V for Vendetta. It is distinguished by a large number of characters and references to works of English literature. The heroes of various issues were the adventurer Allan Quatermain, the old pirate Captain Nemo, the invisible man Hawley Griffin and Mina Murray, the woman bitten by Dracula.
