VKontakte launched on iOS and Android a separate application for its service of short videos a la TikTok - VK Clips.

The application gives content authors access to shooting videos in Full HD @ 60 fps, an updated editor with filters and effects, and the maximum duration of videos was increased to three minutes (previously there was a limit of 60 seconds).

We also expanded the functions of editing video fragments: added reshooting and reshooting, splitting and merging, changing the order of fragments, changing the duration, color filters, reverse and duplication.

All videos uploaded to the new app will be available in the regular VK app, and vice versa. At the same time, some functions of VK Clips can be used in guest mode without registration.

To launch the application, the creators have prepared unique masks, effects and filters. Among them is the new effect "In touch", which simulates a call from celebrities (it uses pre-recorded videos from Klava Koka, Ilya Sobolev and other partners).
