RuMarket launched in Russia - an analogue of the Google Play app store

Anatoly Smorgonsky, CEO of the Russian division of Gett, launched the Russian analogue of Google Play - it was called RuMarket. Investments in the project will amount to about 100 million rubles, writes TASS.
Clients of several Russian banks, services for residents of the capital and some other programs are already available on Rumarket - a total of 16 applications.
The first version of RuMarket will be free for both users and developers. Monetization, application ratings, moderation and virus checks are planned in the next releases.

Author of the veselcraft Telegram channel wrotethat RuMarket is made on the basis of another application catalog, f-droiddeveloped for more than 10 years. The code contains links to the forum of this resource and the repository in GitLab. And since RuMarket does not publish the original moves, they violate the terms of the license, the user noted.
