The most famous, perhaps, was the touching short story by Tom Tykwer, according to the plot of which a blind young man recalls the stages of his relationship with a girl who called him with a proposal to leave.

Some called the director Leos Carax (by the way, he also shot the extravagant musical "Annette”) was the main hope of the new French cinema, while others did not accept the job. One of the best work Woody Allen shows Paris from its most advantageous side: narrow streets covered with paving stones, bridges over the Seine, boulevards and other postcard views. The debut of Jean-Luc Godard "Breathless" revolutionized the language of cinema. One of the main directors French "new wave" used a whole range of innovative means of expression: ragged montage, a wandering camera, a spontaneous change of angles. Now these techniques seem to be something ordinary, but at one time they caused sincere surprise of the audience.
Due to limited opportunities, Godard, like other authors of the “new wave”, shot on location, and added the script along the way. So the Paris of the 1960s, where Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean Seberg walk in the film, is 100% authentic, without a trace of falsehood.
