Miscellaneous / / April 22, 2022
The model is suitable for listening to music, and for constant calls.
Among the flagship TWS headphones, Apple and Sony models are usually heard, but the market for such accessories is quite large today, and many worthy new items are undeservedly ignored. One of them is the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. The gadget is able to attract not only sound and noise reduction, but also other advantages. Which ones - we will tell in the review.

Appearance and equipment
In the kit, in addition to the headphones themselves and the case, a short charging wire via USB-C and two pairs of silicone tips - large and small. Another pair, medium size, already worn - it fit me.
The headphones themselves are very compact, streamlined and lightweight. They are made of smooth plastic. The flat surface on the outside of each earbud is the mechanical button. She has a very soft, but palpable pressure, in which the device is not pressed into the ear.
You can correct the earpiece without contact with the button, which completely eliminates unnecessary operation.
Just below the buttons are holes for microphones. On the reverse side there are two contacts for recharge. The sound guide has a standard round shape, which makes it possible to select third-party ear pads, for example, from foam.
Headphones sit well. They do not particularly bristle and do not strive to slip out even during physical activity, so they are quite suitable for sports. In addition, there is IP57 protection, which means that they are not afraid of even short-term diving under water, not to mention sweat and rain.
The case is made of approximately the same plastic as the device itself, inside there is a matte soft-touch coating that is pleasant to the touch. When inserted, the headphones are magnetized, while hidden diodes light up on their flat surface.
On the front of the case is a USB‑C port and an LED above it. Below is the Qi technology icon, signaling the possibility of wireless charging.
The box is simple but well put together. The lid is securely fixed, accidental openings are excluded. With one hand throwing it away will not work, but it can hardly be called a serious problem.
Connection and application chips
The Jabra Elite 7 Pro is easy to pair with your smartphone via Bluetooth by simply removing the headphones from the case. However, for their full use, it is worth downloading the proprietary Jabra Sound + application. I would even say that it is simply necessary to install it in order to reveal all the advantages of headphones.

Customization
When you first connect, the application will offer to fully customize the gadget for yourself. You can check the fit of each earbud and adjust the level of noise cancellation, including its balance between the right and left elements.
Further, with the MySound function, you can optimize the sound exactly for your hearing. To do this, a certain audio signal will be fed into each earphone in turn, to which you need to respond by pressing the screen.
Many sounds are barely distinguishable, and if you did not hear, the application will take this into account when creating a personal profile. As a result of this adjustment, some tracks may sound slightly different.
In my case, in a number of compositions, slightly more pronounced high frequencies and vocals that are better separated from the instruments appeared in a number of compositions - for example, in the tracks of The Cranberries.
Of course, this greatly depends on your hearing and perception, but, according to my subjective impressions, there is a difference. This is a fairly subtle setting that sets the Jabra Elite 7 Pro apart from many expensive counterparts.
If you want a more dramatic change in the nature of the sound, there is a five-band equalizer with ready-made presets.
Headset settings
Separately, you can adjust the operation of the Jabra Elite 7 Pro in headset mode. For example, turn on the automatic reception of calls when at least one earpiece is inserted into the ear.
There's also a handy feature to automatically deactivate microphones when you're filming. headphones. And when you insert it back, the microphones turn on.
There are also options to listen to your own voice and improve the quality of your interlocutor's speech - you can add high frequencies or bass.
Other
An additional cool feature in the application - a selection background noise to drown out the surrounding sounds, if the music is already tired. You can turn on the recording of rain, the murmur of a stream, thunder or birdsong - there are 12 samples to choose from.
If you lose your Jabra Elite 7 Pro, you can view through the application where the headphones were when you last disconnected from your smartphone.
And of course updates are available through Jabra Sound+. During testing, Elite 7 Pro managed to get one fresh firmware.
sound
It's hard to find fault with these headphones in terms of sound. They are trying to be a kind of "good guys" in everything, coping with almost any genre. Somewhere a little better, somewhere a little worse, but the overall picture is more than worthy.
If your tastes are very specific and in playlist on a smartphone, for example, Linkin Park, Nina Simone and "Miyagi & Endgame" easily get along - the Jabra Elite 7 Pro will be the universal option that will play all the tracks equally well.
If a tight and elastic bass is especially important to you, then there will be no problems with this either. Electronic tracks, rap and music with an emphasis on drums are perfectly revealed. And if something is missing somewhere, the equalizer will help out.
Noise Reduction and Transparency Mode
Noise suppression (ANC) and transparency mode are switched by default with a button on the left earpiece, as well as in the curtain of an Android smartphone, which is also convenient.
Both modes work without errors. The sounds of the road or the office "buzz" are cut off completely. If you work remotely at home and someone nearby is constantly watching TV, then ANC will be a real salvation.
The transparency mode, called HearThrough, can be adjusted by choosing how much ambient sounds are passed through. This adjustment was not useful to me, but it will probably be useful to someone.
Headset mode
Headset mode is the strength of the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. And the point is not only in the convenient settings, which I spoke about a little higher, but also in the very quality of voice transmission.
The headphones have four excellent microphones, complemented by bone conduction sensors. The latter should work under the influence of external noise - in theory, this means that, for example, your interlocutor may not notice the wind or the sound of a passing car.
In practice, speech really remains clear, many extraneous signals do not pass. The same TV or conversation of loved ones next to you will remain in the room with you and will not reach the ears of the interlocutor. Therefore, if you often make calls on the go or have constant callsThese earbuds are perfect.
autonomy
The manufacturer claims about 8 hours of operation with active noise cancellation and up to 30 hours with recharge from the case. These figures can be trusted: after 4 hours of listening to music, the application showed about 55% of the charge for each earbud.
There is also a quick recharge, which provides about an hour of work after a five-minute contact with the case, and wireless Qi-charging of the case itself, which is also an absolute plus. So, the case on the road was replenished from Pixel 6.
Results
It is quite difficult for wireless headphones of the flagship segment to stand out from the competition. In many models, the emphasis is on the “most-most” sound or on incredible noise reduction. In the case of the Jabra Elite 7 Pro, the audio quality is at a decent level, it corresponds to the price segment. However, the key point I would call the possibility of personalizing the sound.
You can "sharpen" the sound to your ear, taste and the genres that you prefer.
As a headset, the Elite 7 Pro also deserves praise, and this is an even more striking advantage than the audio quality or flexible headphone settings. Therefore, if you were looking for something as versatile and convenient as possible for everyday use, then this is a great option, even taking into account the price tag of 20 thousand rubles.

- Decent sound with lots of settings.
- Quality transmission vote.
- Great app.
- Flagship autonomy.
- Wireless charger.
