The Biryuch Innovation Center, which is part of the Belgorod group of companies Efko, conducted successful flight tests of a prototype of the Hi-Fly Cargo unmanned aerial vehicle.
The device is designed for delivery of goods to hard-to-reach places, evacuation of victims and use in emergency situations. As part of the test flight, the Hi-Fly Cargo delivered medical supplies weighing 100 kg in unmanned mode, and then returned with a conditional victim weighing 80 kg.
The prototype is capable of flying with a range of up to 20 km. The maximum speed reaches 100 km / h, and the payload can be up to 170 kg.
The creators of the drone claim that the device uses 70% of Russian components, and in the next modification the device will consist of 100% of them.
Biryuch Innovation Center was established by EFKO in 2013. It includes 12 modern laboratories where scientific developments in the field of food technology, artificial intelligence and aerodynamics are carried out.
