British startup showed "invisibility shield"

It remains to figure out where to use it.
British startup Invisibility Shield Co has presented an “invisibility shield” at crowdfunding, a transparent-looking plastic panel that hides an object behind it.
This panel does not require power or an external power source. It uses a sophisticated optical lens that skillfully reflects light, giving the impression that the object behind is invisible.
The lighting conditions and clothing of the person behind the shield can affect the effectiveness of the illusion. However, the distance from the shield to the observer does not matter - at 5, 50 or 100 meters the result will be the same.
The illusion itself is built using a precision-engineered lens array that directs most of the light reflected from the object away from the observer—sideways across the surface of the shield, left and right.
A similar principle applies to lenticular printing technology, where slightly ribbed images appear three-dimensional depending on how you look at them.
At the moment, the Invisibility Shield Co project has already paid off on Kickstarter. Those who wish can
to order panel in base size (95x65cm) for £299 or smaller version (31x21cm) for £49.Where do you think such a shield can be used? Write in the comments.
