The Chinese company Vivo has officially announced its first Android tablet. It will be called Vivo Pad and will be presented in China on March 28th. The design is already known thanks to detailed teasers.
The device received a metal case with flat edges, the frames around the display are thin and have the same width around the entire perimeter. The front camera is located on the right side so that it can be used in landscape mode when the tablet is on a stand or in a case.
On the rear panel there is a dual camera with LED flash, four cutouts for speakers and the Dolby Atmos inscription, confirming the support for surround sound, are also visible. The device will receive at least one bright color - blue. This color, coupled with the overall design, is reminiscent of Apple's iPad Air.
But the inside of the Vivo tablet is likely to be less powerful: according to earlier leaks, there will be a Snapdragon 870 (a 2021 sub-flagship chip made using a 7nm process technology) inside. Insiders also said that Vivo Pad will receive an 11-inch AMOLED display with a frequency of 120 Hz, a battery with a capacity of 8 040 mAh will support 44 W fast charging, and the resolution of the cameras will be 13 and 8 megapixels (plus the front module for 8 Mn).
The teasers also confirmed reports that Vivo will release a stylus and a Bluetooth keyboard along with the tablet.
