Google Photos is getting three new features

All of them are aimed at simplifying the search and sharing of images.
Google announced a number of improvements to the proprietary Google Photos service on Android and iOS. There are three main innovations.
Library sort
To simplify the search for photos, the developers will finally add filters for sorting. With the press of a button, you can leave only one type of content on the screen: albums, shared albums, favorites, folders on the device, and so on.
Below the albums grid, you'll see the "Import photos" section, which makes it easy to copy pictures from other services and devices.
New photo sharing section
The General tab will be refocused on sharing snapshots and albums. It will show your close contacts, shared content and sharing links.
Access to screenshots
A shortcut will appear at the top of the photo grid for quick access to screenshots. It will appear right below your Memories whenever you take a new screenshot. By clicking, you can go to the folder with all the screenshots on the device.
Also on Android, when viewing a screenshot, a carousel of contextual suggestions for copying text, cropping, searching with the "Google Lens" and so on will soon be displayed. These tips will help you perform one-touch actions on screenshots.
All of these updates will roll out to Android this week and will also be rolling out to iOS soon.
