Global versions of Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro and 12X presented

Xiaomi held an online presentation, which showed the global versions of the flagship smartphones Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro, as well as their more affordable "little brother" 12X. The characteristics of the devices are completely similar Chinese versions, but global models have a big advantage: support for Google services.

In addition, these smartphones will ship with MIUI 13 - Chinese models came out with MIUI 12.5 on board.

Xiaomi 12

The relatively compact flagship received a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It uses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The camera is triple: the main module is 50 megapixels, wide-angle 13 megapixels and telephoto/macro 5 megapixels.

The smartphone will be available in grey, purple and blue colors starting at $749 for the 8GB/128GB version. Versions for 8/256 and 12/256 GB will also be available, their cost is not specified.

Xiaomi 12 Pro

A more powerful and massive version with a 6.73-inch display (also at 120 Hz), which also runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. But here, all three camera modules have a resolution of 50 megapixels: the main Sony IMX707 camera is complemented by portrait and ultra-wide angle ones. The 4600mAh battery supports more powerful 120W charging.

The smartphone will go on sale in the same colors as the Xiaomi 12, starting at $999 for the 8/256 GB model. In addition to it, a modification will be released for 12/256 GB

Xiaomi 12X

The "light" version of Xiaomi 12, which runs on the Snapdragon 870 processor and has lost wireless charging. Otherwise, their characteristics are identical.

The colors of the Xiaomi 12X are identical to the other two models, but the price tag starts at $649 for the 8GB/128GB model. An 8/256 GB option will also be available.
