Created a basketball hoop that can't miss

Youtuber Shane Wighton from Stuff Made Here has created a new device that sounds like something out of science. fiction: a basketball hoop that flies at a speed of 160 km/h to take even the most unfortunate throw.
The computer calculates the trajectory of the sword using data from a system of cameras that respond to marks pasted into the ball. In a matter of milliseconds, he calculates the position of the ball and its trajectory, calculating it and at what moment the ring must be in order for the ball to fly through it.
In addition to a direct hit, the possibility of a rebound from the board with a subsequent hit in the ring is also analyzed. From the available options, the option with the maximum probability is selected, and the ring is sent to the desired point, adjusting its position in space along six axes.
Six drives are responsible for the movement of the ring, which are connected to the ring with metal cables. Shane admitted that he took too powerful engines that he bought for another project, so he had to add a limit on the bounce of the ball so that it would not be loaded into someone's head.
The result is an impossible-to-lose basketball setup (assuming you throw the ball within the camera's field of view).
And she can also mock: catch the ball, and then deftly throw it out of the basket (however, this requires a different ball with a different arrangement of marks). This variant was shown at 21:12.
The entire project took over 600 hours, most of which Shane spent trying to figure out why the setup wasn't working. But he is proud of the result - especially considering that he conceived this project at the very beginning of his YouTube career, but was only able to implement it now.
