10,000 mAh battery and resistant to water, sand, frost and shock.
Ulefone, a well-known manufacturer of ultra-rugged smartphones, has unveiled the latest Power Armor 14 Pro. This is an improved version of the Power Armor 14 introduced last year.
The smartphone received a body made of high-rigidity plastic, additionally protected by a metal frame and rubber inserts at the corners. It is IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810G certified, which means it can withstand dust, sand, water, drops, shock, and temperature fluctuations. The Power Armor 14 Pr also operates from -20°C to 60°C (and can be stored at -51°C to 75°C when turned off). The charging connector, speakers and headphone port are protected from moisture.
Otherwise, this is a regular smartphone running on Android 12. It was equipped with an 8-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor - a significant upgrade after the Helio G35 in the regular Power Armor 14. Memory has also been improved: 6/128 GB, while the previous model offered only 6/64 GB.
The 6.52-inch IPS display has a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels (20:9 aspect ratio). The notch houses a 16-megapixel front camera, the main camera has three modules: a 20-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro, and a depth sensor. There is also an NFC module, a fingerprint scanner, a programmable side key and a hybrid slot (you will have to choose between a second SIM card and micro SD up to 1 TB).
The battery hasn't changed: it's still a massive 10,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
The smartphone was priced at $259.99 (the regular Power Armor 14 costs $219.99).
