How to upload your photos and other files from popular cloud storages

If you want to protect your photos or working documents from possible restrictions in the operation of cloud storage, you should download all the necessary data to a PC or storage media. To do this, Google, Apple and Yandex have convenient tools.

Google Photos and Drive

Google has long allowed users to download all their files from the cloud, including photos, letters, and any other previously downloaded data. For all this there is a universal solution - "Google Archiver".

On its page, it is enough to mark the types of data that you want to download. There is everything related to Google services, from files from Drive to YouTube search history.

Having selected the data, you need to specify the method of obtaining, the convenient format of the archives and their maximum volume in order to export everything in parts.

iCloud Drive and Apple ID details

iPhone, iPad, and Mac owners can request copies of all their data using the Apple ID account page. There you need to go to the "Privacy" section and select "Get a copy of the data."

Next, you need to mark the information that you need: purchase history, notes, files from iCloud Drive, photos, and so on.

After that, it remains to choose a convenient size for the archives and confirm your request. After a while, you will receive an email with a link.

"Yandex. Disk" and data "Yandex ID"

Users of Yandex services also was a simple tool to download data tied to Yandex ID. However, on March 1, for some reason, it disappeared from free access, so for now, users can only download files from Disk manually, as well as export Mail letters and Calendar events.

To get your files from Drive, open the storage in your browser, select everything you need and click Download in the block above. So you can download everything in one archive.

To export letters, Yandex offers to use mail programs, instructions for which are different. The situation is similar with events in the calendar, which can only be postpone to another calendar.
