OPPO introduced Find X5 and Find X5 Pro smartphones

OPPO has officially announced its first pair of flagship smartphones for 2022: Find X5 and Find X5 Pro. To create these devices, the company once again teamed up with camera manufacturer Hasselblad.

OPPO Find X5 Pro

The main feature of the smartphone has become a triple camera setup Hasselblad: it consists of two modules of 50 megapixels and an additional telephoto 13 megapixels. A separate 6nm MariSilicon X chip is responsible for photo processing. Also, one of the features of the smartphone is gesture control, which will be useful, for example, when cooking.

Otherwise, this is a standard 2022 flagship: with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a 120Hz screen, an under-screen fingerprint scanner and fast charging (80W wired, 50W wireless). A modification with a Dimensity 900 processor and without a MariSilicon X chip will also be available in China, but it will not be sold in Europe.

OPPO Find X5

The base Find X5 received last year's Snapdragon 888 processor, slightly reduced battery and screen, but retained the Hasselblad camera - almost the same as the older model. In addition to the chipset, the main compromise was the moisture protection rating: IP54 instead of IP68.

• Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.

• Moisture protection: IP54.
• Battery: 4,800 mAh with 80W wired charging, 50W AirVOOC wireless and 15W reverse.
• Platform: ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.
• Dimensions: 160.2 x 72.5 x 8.6mm, weight 196g

• OPPO Find X5 (8 + 256 GB): 999 euros (≈97,400 rubles)

Smartphones will go on sale in Europe on March 14, both will be available in only one modification.
