New flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra positioned by the manufacturer as an ideal solution for mobile photography, especially in low light conditions. Is this really so, the journalists of the PhoneArena portal checked, who conducted a detailed comparison of the photo capabilities of the flagship with the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Pixel 6 Pro.
We chose a number of frames that allow us to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of smartphone cameras.

As you can see for yourself, in conditions of good natural light, smartphones shoot about the same, as, indeed, all modern flagships. At night, on the street, the difference is more noticeable, but more often it appears only in the white balance, which is easy to correct in the editor.
With wide-angle shooting, the situation is similar, but in the case of zoom, the Galaxy S22 Ultra performed better than its opponents, demonstrating excellent detail, the editor of PhoneArena noted. At the same time, he experienced only a 10-fold approximation, although the stock of the flagship is much larger.
In a number of situations, the Pixel 6 Pro was unable to catch focus, so it simply ruined some frames. The iPhone 13 Pro Max turned out to be more reliable, which, however, has already been confirmed by many other tests.
