"53 + 45 = 98" in Hawaiian would be "kanalima‑kūmā-kolu + kanahā-kūmā-lima = kanaiwa‑kūmā-walu". How would you say "89 - 34 = 55" in Hawaiian?
All numerals in the example begin with a word with a common part kana. Since all the numbers in the example are double digits, you can guess that kana is ten. Then the second part of the words denotes the number of tens in the number: lima - five, hā - four, iwa - nine.
Knowing the translation of these words, one can understand that the third part of the numerals denotes the number of units, and kūmā is a union. That is, the names of two-digit numerals are built according to the following scheme: ten (kana) + number of tens + and (kūmā) + number of units. Let's correlate the remaining words with numbers: kolu - three, walu - eight.
Then "89 - 34 = 55" should be written like this: kanawalu‑kūmā-iwa – kanakolu‑kūmā-hā = kanalima‑kūmā-lima.

Below is the epigram of A. WITH. Pushkin with missing even lines, where each even line rhymes with the previous odd one.
The gloomy trio have singers:
…
The mind has three adversaries:
…
But who is more stupid of the three evil?
…
In each of the missing lines, in some order, are the names of Shakhovskaya, Shikhmatov, Shishkov. In which line, to keep the rhythm, did Pushkin add the word ours after the first surname?
The rhythm of a poem depends on the alternation of stressed and unstressed syllables. By placing stresses in odd lines, you can see this sequence and restore even ones. The word "our" should be in the fourth line.

Shikhmatov, Shakhovskoy, Shishkov,
The mind has a trio of adversaries -
Our Shishkov, Shakhovskoy, Shikhmatov,
But who is more stupid of the three evil?
