Boston Dynamics robots star in beer commercial

American beer producer Samuel Adams released promotional video for the Super Bowl 2022 - the finals of the American football championship. It was created in the scenery of the Boston Dynamics factory. In addition to human actors, robots Spot and Atlas starred in the video.

Samuel Adams is the official beer of the Boston Red Sox, multiple World Series and Major League Baseball (MLB) champions. The confrontation between the Boston Red Sox and the Yankees has been going on for over a hundred years and counts one of the most fundamental in professional sports.

Advertisers traditionally prepare the most expensive videos for the Super Bowl. For showing a 30-second video this year, you will have to pay $6 million and the Samuel Adams video is twice as long.

The tagline for the video is "Your cousin from Boston." In the story, two security guards at the Boston Dynamics plant decide to drink a can of beer during the night shift. Soon the robot dog Spot joins them, who also gets a foamy drink.

Then several more robotic dogs and Atlas humanoid robots enter the stage. The real party begins - everyone dances, Atlas perform their crown somersaults from the spot and show the "moonwalk". People and robots take funny photos, share secrets about girls and have a real blast.
