Photo of the new device noticed on the support page. Next to a familiar smartphone, 91Mobiles journalists saw an unusual tablet with a cutout in the screen for a selfie camera.
Previously insiders reportedthat the tablet will be presented on February 8th. Featuring a 14.6-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2960×1848 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, the model opens up interesting possibilities for mobile gaming.
The tablet will run on a fresh chipset. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 up to 3GHz with Adreno 730 graphics. It will receive up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB on the internal drive, a battery with a capacity of 11,200 mAh, support for the smart S Pen, a dual main camera with a universal module with a resolution of 13 MP and an ultra-wide angle on 6 MP
The front camera of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be dual, the resolution will be 12 megapixels. This will allow you to take group selfies with a wide viewing angle. A modification with support for 5G networks will be available, although it is not a fact that it will officially appear in Russia.
In addition to the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, Samsung will release two more tablets - Tab S8 and Tab S8 Plus. They will also receive Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and S Pen support, but the specifications of the gadgets will be modest. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has a screen size of 12.7 inches and a battery capacity of 10,090 mAh. And the standard Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 will have an 11-inch screen and an 8,000 mAh battery.
The front cameras of both tablets will be single, with modules with a resolution of 12 megapixels. Also, 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage will be built into the gadgets. Tablets will ship with a fresh Android 12 in the proprietary shell of Samsung One UI 4.1.
